It grants a once-per-turn income trigger that gives one Rune if a Lifebound Hero was played that turn, and it can expand the Lifebound trait to an entire faction when it enters play. Players use it to boost Lifebound synergies and ramp Rune generation, enabling combos with faction-specific heroes and effects that care about Lifebound status.
