ASL Comp: Facing the Blitz
A tactical World War II simulation set at Vroenhoven, Belgium, on 11 May 1940. German forces attack to secure the Albert Canal bridgehead while Belgian troops hold nearby positions and Belgian Fairey Battle aircraft attempt to bomb the bridge under heavy anti-aircraft fire. The game includes an updated Albert Canal map, new counters, and revised scenarios depicting the fighting around the bridge and the aircraft’s sacrificial bombing mission.
