This booklet presents 30 character backgrounds for fantasy frontier campaigns, featuring ranchers, lawmen, drifters, merchants, outlaws, prospectors, and other settlers living at the edge of civilization. Elves, orcs, dwarves, and halflings share a setting shaped by expansion, lawless towns, hard labor, and dangerous wilderness. Each background provides a character history, skill and tool proficiencies, starting equipment, and a unique feature compatible with the 5e ruleset. The options focus on practical experiences and everyday frontier life rather than occult forces, planar mysteries, or distant institutions, and can also be used to create non-player characters.
