Balada
Bards record the brave deeds of heroes as they travel through a perilous land. In this flip-and-write game, players draw event cards and choose which events to add to their maps. A landscape card each turn limits the available choices, while heroes must manage equipment, wounds, enemies, resting places, and bosses. Other events include magical portals, rescuing a princess, fishing, and finding treasure. After twelve turns, players score their journeys. Standard play features an outward and return journey, while an easier variant uses one side of the map and a single deck of events.
