Balduran's Guide to Kingdom Building
A 5th Edition-compatible guide for adding kingdom building to a fantasy roleplaying campaign. It provides rules for founding and developing settlements, travel and exploration, and mass combat, with 10 terrain types, 9 strongholds, 201 buildings, and 97 mass-combat units. The 167-page guide includes four example settlements, nine adventures, nine professional maps with player and GM versions, three monsters, 883 adventure hooks, and a settlement-tracking sheet. These tools support story-driven, party-centered campaigns focused on exploration, social interaction, warfare, trade, and intrigue.
