An expedition crossing a shifting desert discovers a dry well leading to an immense temple filled with ancient books, scrolls, and forgotten knowledge. The buried archive is not unguarded, and exploring it presents dangers alongside its potential discoveries. This system-agnostic dungeon can be added to an existing campaign as a wilderness encounter, a hazardous detour, or the beginning of a conflict with a dragon nemesis.
