Players recruit armies of goats led by a randomly assigned hero, then arrange nine cards face down in a 3x3 battlefield. On each turn, a player attacks an opponent’s chosen card with one of their own, revealing both cards and comparing their values after applying abilities and modifiers. The losing card is discarded, while the winner remains in play face down, making memory important when planning later attacks. Equal values defeat both cards. The player with the last card in play wins. Games support 2–6 players and take approximately 5–30 minutes.
