Battlestations: Second Edition

A one-versus-many starship simulator set in the 22nd century where players crew and manage a spacecraft while an opposing player controls enemy forces and onboard crises. Gameplay alternates between ship-to-ship actions on multi-map battle boards and tactical scenes inside vessels, with players resolving emergencies, boarding actions, repairs, and system hacks. Characters gain experience, upgrades, and new abilities across campaigns, enabling evolving strategies and narrative choices. Rules emphasize simple mechanics that support cinematic, improvisational plays—teleporting, system manipulation, and risky maneuvers are common tactics as the crew cooperates to survive and complete missions while the antagonist creates obstacles.
