2021 · Card Game
Bequest
Aspiring supervillains squabble over the estate of the recently departed Dr. Schism. Players draw Asset cards and split them into two piles for a neighbor, who chooses one pile while leaving the other. The direction of this process alternates each round. Players collect matching gadgets, hideouts, influence, and Schemes for points, while avoiding Evidence that becomes a liability in larger quantities. Keys determine access to Special Assets, including powerful cards and unique scoring conditions.

Kush7.2 Perfect set collection game for a larger player count. Simultaneous decision-making keeps the playtime short & sweet and the choices are agonizing, fun, and meaningful. Overall a fantastic game design and highly recommended. While the production and art are great too, I wish the footprint of the game (box, on table, and cost) was proportionate to what it actually is— a simple card game.
