Beyond the Pale
An Old School adventure rooted in Jewish folklore and mysticism, set in the pre-Shoah communities of Eastern Europe. Players investigate a central mystery in the divided town of Kest, navigating tensions surrounding orthodoxy, belonging, prejudice, and fear. The location-based adventure includes regional travel, important characters, several adventuring sites, and two dungeons, including one modeled on the Sefirot. Players solve problems, make consequential choices, and uncover relics, creatures, and the secrets of the Book of the Night Wanderer, a powerful angel-summoning manual.
