Black Seas: Galleys
Add a squadron of three low, slender galleys to your Black Seas fleets. These Mediterranean warships use banks of oars as their main means of propulsion, allowing them to move independently of the wind, while sails provide an alternative when conditions are favourable. The pack includes rules and ship cards for using galleys in play. While rowing, they move as if at Battle Sails but suffer a -2 penalty when shooting. Switching between oars and sails requires one full Turn without shooting.
