Black Seas: Gunboat Squadron
Gunboats are small, lightly armed vessels designed to operate in shallow waters where larger ships cannot manoeuvre easily. Their low cost allows fleets to deploy them in numbers, using swarms of nimble boats to threaten larger warships despite their limited firepower. In play, gunboat squadrons are difficult to hit and carry a single light cannon, with no room for upgrades. They are vulnerable to collisions, especially from larger ships moving at speed, but their evasiveness makes them challenging to eliminate.
