Blackhill Gaol (5E)
Blackhill Gaol is a remote labour camp where debtors, criminals, and political prisoners once faced lifelong punishment. After an uprising, the prison has no formal warden, but powerful inmates—including political masterminds, poisoners, and cult leaders—compete for control while guards outside threaten anyone who escapes. The setting supports adventures among rival factions, forbidden lore, black-market goods, and dangerous prison politics. Visitors can enter and leave the gaol, provided they survive its shifting alliances and watch their step.
