In a ruined castle deep in the frozen northern tundra, a small village survives under the protection of its vampire lord. The villagers offer their blood in exchange for safety from wolves, giant bats, and the harsh wilderness, while the isolated settlement hides its true nature from outsiders. Player characters investigate Bleakflat, meet its unusual inhabitants, and uncover the arrangement that sustains the village and its mysterious ruler.
