Players take part in a Pathfinder expedition into the Mwangi Expanse, investigating the ancient Doorway to the Red Star, once the stronghold of the King of Biting Ants. They explore remote ruins, face otherworldly creatures and dangerous hazards, recover artifacts, and map the surrounding region while uncovering the fate of an earlier expedition.
