This supplement explores crime and punishment in the Calixis Sector, focusing on the Adeptus Arbites and Imperial law. It adds backgrounds, alternate careers, equipment, and rules for playing Acolytes with legal authority or criminal pasts, along with information on the Arbites’ mission to maintain order. Expanded investigation rules support cases involving corruption, heresy, and terrorism, while the included adventure, Jurisdiction, draws the Acolytes into a conflict between three powerful Imperial organisations.
