In an effort to stop Toy Boy’s rampage, the heroes have released Malador the Mystic, a former Master Mage who seeks to bind the spirit of his dead rival, Adrian Eldritch, into an undead servant. An unlikely ally joins the struggle, while the mysterious Dark Lady pursues her own agenda. This mystical adventure places the heroes and Freedom City in the middle of a three-way conflict between powerful villains. It is designed for a team of four heroes of PL 10 and continues the NetherWar campaign arc.
