Boxes of the Magi
Ancient magical boxes contain the preserved essence of creatures captured by mysterious mages. Each of more than 370 boxes features a unique D&D creature and the effects stored within, with offensive and defensive options for some of the more complex creatures. The supplement includes rules for opening boxes, detecting forgeries, and determining how time has affected their contents, along with tracking tables for boxes that have been found or used.
