Players portray a group of elderly women who belong to a local mystery book club and who repeatedly investigate real-life murders in their town. The game blends cozy amateur sleuthing with creeping supernatural elements, as investigations reveal connections and a cult tied to a dark aspect of a goddess emerges. Play uses roleplaying-driven scenes where characters gather clues, interrogate suspects, and confront occult threats while also managing personal relationships, memories, and age-related concerns.
