Brother... Why?
A small zine contains two short, rules-light games inspired by eccentric marginalia from mediaeval manuscripts. In the first game players portray monks who sneaked silly drawings into sacred texts and must defend those doodles to their peers. Each player draws cards that define the doodle and the passage it accompanies, then argues why it belongs there; play supports two-player duels or multi-player brawls where participants vie to avoid censure. The second game casts players as a troupe of travelling con artists selling bogus relics and miracle stories. Each turn sets up the sales pitch with card draws, then a die roll determines how badly the scheme unravels and players narrate their escape; the campaign continues until the troupe can no longer flee. Solo rules are included.
