The Ninth World is surrounded by dangerous remnants of earlier civilizations, including ancient machines, strange structures, extradimensional gateways, and devices that can fail without warning. By exploring these ruins, characters uncover numenera, iotum, and plans that can help communities survive and develop. This supplement adds nearly 300 cyphers, artifacts, plans, installations, vehicles, automatons, and other items to discover or craft. It also presents threats for isolated communities, new locations such as Kaustrin and Skyam, creature followers, crafting-related GM intrusions, numenera waste sites, and biological and otherspace technologies.
