A routine iridium pickup at a remote mining outpost on the frozen planet Bore IX turns into a survival mystery as workers become mindless monsters and a killer hides among them. The crew travels by snow buggy through a hostile mountain region, explores the outpost, and investigates its ten inhabitants.
