Players explore the layered remains of forgotten civilizations, excavating tiles to recover relics and gemstones. They complete ancient vases and statues while deciding how far to push their luck, since revealing two matching creatures ends a turn immediately. Completed objectives unlock sealed envelopes containing new artifacts, rules, and ways to explore the site. Players manage risk and collect points as they work toward the score goal.
