Xi is driven by the need to protect her sisters, Yangjing and Yizhi. Although she seeks justice for the brothers’ crimes, their safety comes first. An outsider in the Empire’s courts, Xi finds purpose as her sisters’ sword arm, using carefully coordinated defensive techniques to frustrate those who threaten them.
