BX Game Options Volume V
This OSR supplement introduces Faith, a simple mechanic that lets clerics expend their connection to chosen powers for minor benefits. It also presents 17 new spells, including magical amulets, wilderness shelters, and a version of Summon Monsters, with options to increase the power of many spells. The Hedge Witch is a community-focused spellcaster positioned between the magic-user and cleric, specializing in practical magic and short-lived potions. The volume also includes 19 aberrant monsters ranging from 1 to 16 Hit Dice, including ambushing, floating-brain KalZorians and soul-threatening MegaZorians.
