This supplement focuses on magic items, especially weapons, armor, and shields that can develop alongside their wielders. Gems of Prescience can be grafted onto equipment to provide temporary enchantments and spell-like effects, while heritage-bonded items gain power as characters advance and unlock further abilities through rituals. It also introduces the Artificer class, which combines magic and mechanics, begins with a mechanical companion, and creates quasi-magical items by investing part of their spirit. New lamellar and scaled armor types in various materials expand equipment options, including for classes with limited armor choices.
