In midsummer, the remote mountain village of Ilgaardd prepares to celebrate the anniversary of its independence from the tyrant Killoran “the Red.” As outsiders, loyalists, a heat wave, and feuding villagers threaten the festivities, the characters are hired by the local sheriff to keep the peace. The adventure unfolds amid rising tensions and a dangerous bonfire tradition, while a towering haunted force threatens to rise above the Village Green. Designed for 4–6 low-level characters, it presents a short scenario focused on investigation, crowd control, and supernatural danger.
