Cairn of King Eddles
An adventure for a mid-level fantasy roleplaying group begins with dusty tomes and a tapestry revealing clues to the tomb of a long-buried king. The party explores several wilderness locations before descending through the levels of an ancient burial cairn in search of its treasures. The king is not truly dead, and the discovery changes the nature of the expedition. Designed for 1st- and 2nd-Edition AD&D, the scenario can be adapted to other systems for a one-shot or an ongoing campaign.
