Calidar: On Wings of Darkness
A fantasy roleplaying gazetteer presents Caldwen, a magiocracy shaped by rival wizardly factions, academic politics, and demons bound to serve its spellcasters. It details the realm’s history, provinces, cultures, economy, religions, secret sects, notable figures, creatures, and laws. The book also explores schools of magic, private cabals devoted to specialized disciplines, a mage-knight order guarding a forbidden source of power, and the floating capital of Arcanial. An introductory skyship episode provides an adventure framework, while extensive game statistics, motivations, secrets, and encounter material support further play.
