Set during the American Civil War, the game follows Confederate sympathizers in Union-aligned California. Players organize covert activities, rally support, interfere with the flow of gold and silver to the Federal government, and attempt to turn local unrest into open rebellion. Actions range from publishing inflammatory material and influencing communities to carrying out bold operations in support of the South.
