Campaign Trail

Players compete to win a majority of electoral votes by building and converting voter support across the United States. On each turn a player plays a card and chooses one of several actions—fundraise, register voters, travel, advertise, hold rallies, or run events—to gain money, recruit voters, move the candidate, and generate issue-driven support. Control of a state’s voter majority awards that state’s electoral votes, and event cards and candidate powers create engine-building and asymmetry. Debates and targeted advertising interact with state issue preferences, so resource management and area control determine who accumulates the most electoral votes by game end.
