Cattle Raid on the Marches (OpenQuest)
In the Marchlands, cattle raids are an accepted part of life, provided the customary laws are followed and unnecessary bloodshed is avoided. The players seek to convince a village that they are capable of leading a raid, then plan and carry out an expedition to seize valuable livestock. Success brings honor and wealth, while failure leaves the raiders to recover from their losses and their rivals to claim the spoils.
