Chosen Men: Military Skirmish Games in the Napoleonic Wars
A fast-action skirmish game about light troops operating during the Napoleonic Wars. Players command soldiers and NCOs in flank companies as they scout ahead of larger forces, engage enemy skirmishers, and fight small-scale actions. Companies are divided into groups of up to a dozen men, with optional formations of accurately sized light infantry and cavalry units. Officers rally and direct their men rather than acting as heroic fighters, while an alternating action sequence lets them influence multiple units and seize the initiative. All rolls use standard six-sided dice.
