This sourcebook explores the mysterious Karnstein bloodline, a once-prominent lineage now believed by many to be extinct. Its surviving members use the Pretense Discipline to appear mortal and conceal themselves from enemies and one another. It includes an overview of the bloodline’s history and nature, a detailed description of Pretense, biographies of prominent Karnsteins, and character archetypes for players or Storytellers.
