Codex of Boons & Banes
A collection of tables for creating magical weapons, armor, and utility items for Shadowdark. It includes d66 tables of more than 200 benefits and curses, along with suggested names for each effect, allowing items such as spell-deflecting armor, light-draining cloaks, and weapons with dangerous intentions. Additional tables determine an item's magical bonus, the number of benefits or curses it carries, and results based on dungeon or creature level. The tables support both quick item design and random generation during play.
