Cold War 3! Rules for Modern Warfare 1960-1990
A tabletop wargame covering modern warfare from the early Cold War through 1990, with forces represented in 6mm, 15mm, or 20mm. The rules include American and Soviet orders of battle for early, middle, and late periods. Players conduct armoured, mechanised, and infantry assaults using rules for movement, firing, reconnaissance, engineers, night fighting, battlefield recovery, and modern anti-tank and armour technologies. Artillery includes high explosive, smoke, chemical, guided, and scatterable-mine munitions. Air support, helicopters, surface-to-air missiles, air-to-air combat, bombing, strafing, and medical evacuation are also covered, with optional rules for chemical, biological, and nuclear effects.
