Combat Description Cards

This system-neutral card deck provides prompts for describing combat in tabletop RPGs and other fiction. Cards are organized by damage type—blunt, slashing, or piercing—and combat style, including finesse, power, and ranged attacks. Players draw one or more cards for action words and example descriptions, with nonlethal and killing-blow versions. The prompts help narrate the effects of strikes instead of simply stating damage.
