Coral Sea Solitaire

Tactical solitaire wargame set during the 1942 Battle of the Coral Sea. Players command the American aircraft carriers Lexington and Yorktown and sortie against an autonomous Japanese force to stop an invasion convoy from reaching Port Moresby. The game includes four sets, each featuring a different Japanese carrier strategy, with five missions per set for 20 scenarios. Victory depends on achieving each mission’s objective before the convoy arrives. It also supports cooperative play, with players dividing command of the two American carriers. Two six-sided dice are required.
