Crusader Kings
Set in medieval Europe, the game covers the shifting kingdoms, migrations, dynasties, and religious conflicts that follow the fall of the Western Roman Empire. Players guide ruling families through diplomacy, marriage, warfare, succession, and territorial expansion. Alliances and rivalries change over generations as leaders die, heirs inherit, and kingdoms rise or fragment.
