Crypt of the Shadow Lord
A solo fantasy role-playing adventure for a first-level lawful cleric, using Basic Rules from similar fantasy RPGs with little adjustment. The storybook acts as referee, guiding the character through a crypt filled with branching choices, exploration, and deadly encounters. It can also be played as a duet with one player and one referee, and introduces both players and referees to the game’s rules and style. Surviving the adventure can provide enough experience to advance a level.
