Cthentacle: At the Mountings of Madness
This expansion adds two characters, a sailor and an explorer, and introduces a new objective: reaching the lost city of O’Riyeh. Players begin at Spankham Asylum, investigate an inmate’s strange stories, and gather clues while moving through six locations, including Friskatonic University, Innmouth, Dunbitch, and the Mountings of Madness. The first player to reach O’Riyeh wins. Characters that become “spooged” can return to Spankham Asylum and begin their investigation again instead of leaving the game.
