Athas is a harsh desert world where metal is scarce, gods are absent, and psionic power exists in all living creatures. A decade after the Age of Heroes begins, Tyr has cast off its ruler, the Dragon King is dead, earthquakes shake the land, and revolution spreads across the Tyr Region. New threats emerge from the Kreen Empire and the Dead Land. This expanded campaign setting details the Tyr Region and distant locations including the Jagged Cliffs, Last Sea, Kreen Empire, and Dead Land. It includes revised rules, new character races, expanded wizard options, a streamlined psionics system, a 3rd- to 5th-level adventure, poster maps, and a Dungeon Master screen.
