Dark Venture

Explore a dystopian, dark-fantasy future as a single hero who pursues quests across a ruined landscape populated by magically mutated creatures. Players manage a hand of Location, Item and Character cards and spend Action Points to play them: attach Locations to the map and read story prompts that create decisions and trigger actions; equip Items into a hero’s inventory; and summon Characters to aid or oppose objectives. Competitive play scores Quest Points over a fixed number of rounds; cooperative play has the group work together to reach set quest targets; a solo variant provides short and full-length scenarios with the same round limits.
