An unusually long winter surrounds Rattenburg, while a mysterious white water spreads through its lower levels and kills any rat who touches it. The players take on the roles of heroes sent by their packs to investigate the threat and find its source. With help from the laboratory rats, they receive prophetic visions of colorful builders battling a sinister enemy and uncover the events behind the deadly water and the endless winter. The adventure forms the first part of a three-part campaign that takes the characters beyond Rattenburg.
