Deck of Many Things

A legendary artifact from tabletop roleplaying games, this deck contains cards engraved with glyphs, characters, and sigils. Drawing a card bestows a magical effect on the character who draws it, for better or worse. Players announce how many cards they intend to draw before beginning, and must complete the declared number within one hour unless the deck forces the cards out itself. Most cards are returned to the deck after being drawn, while the Fool and Jester are discarded. The set includes the traditional 22 cards, plus optional cards unlocked through crowdfunding.
