Defiant Russia

This wargame covers the 1941 German invasion of the Soviet Union, with players commanding historical German, Finnish, Italian, Hungarian, Spanish, Romanian and Soviet formations. German panzer units provide the Axis striking power, while Soviet armies must absorb the initial assault and select when and where to counterattack. Baltic and Black Sea fleets support amphibious landings and combat, and Soviet paratroopers and shock troops provide capabilities unavailable to the Axis. The main game focuses on Operation Barbarossa, with additional scenarios covering other aspects of the campaign, Turkish intervention and the 1939 invasion of Poland. The Player’s Edition includes an expanded map, 200 playing pieces and revised scenarios.
