Die Bombe

1998 · Card Game

Die Bombe

Each round, two value cards are revealed and players secretly bid for them. The highest bidder chooses one card but records the bid as a penalty, while the second-highest bidder takes the other card without penalty. Bids are then cleared and two new cards are revealed. The deck contains red and green value cards worth 3 to 25, along with bombs. A bomb must be played immediately to cover and cancel one of another player’s cards. At the end, red and green cards are scored separately; the player with the most cards of each color doubles that color’s points. Recorded bid penalties are subtracted, and the highest total wins.
