A retired wizard’s quiet life in the city is disrupted when a thief breaks into his attic and escapes with a precious gemstone. An old diary reveals that his grandfather and his companions defeated a terrible monster 56 years earlier, though something may have survived. Players investigate the inheritance, follow the clues in the diary, and uncover what is haunting the former adventurers.
