This expansion changes the objective from fighting the Nameless One to finding the Holy Grail. It replaces the base game’s hidden and open chits, including monsters, tasks, quests, and encounters, and adds three heroes across two character sheets. Players solve riddles, fight Northmen and other new monsters, and seek aid from figures of Arthurian legend such as Arthur, Merlin, Lancelot, and Guinevere. These companions improve hero statistics and provide special abilities that can be used at suitable moments.
