Dinner with the Spirits
A level-4 fantasy adventure for D&D 5e or Shadowdark, set in a small village threatened just before winter and the holidays. Winter spirits arrive from the Fey Realm through moonlit mirrors, but the wicked fey trickster Snickel has entered with them and uses necromantic magic to control them. The party explores a dungeon beneath a ziggurat containing immortal guardians, deadly traps, strange puzzles, and rival adventurers. Near the great vault, an ornate sarcophagus holds the remains of Pharaoh Ankheteph IX, an ancient ruler who has recently awakened.
